Tim Newman, Owner
Tim Newman started his roofing career at a young age as an installer for his father’s roofing company. He decided to start his own roofing company in 1992 as a means of providing for his family. The company was founded on the principles of integrity, honesty, and strong work ethics. In addition to building a successful company, Tim has been a wonderful husband to his wife and loving father to his three daughters. He enjoys participating in outdoor activities and going golfing. Tim is excited to see what lies ahead for Newman Roofing as he continues to grow the company beyond what he ever had imagined to be possible with his family by his side.

Barbi Newman, Chief Financial Officer
Barbi and Tim Newman were high school sweethearts and have been married since 1988. Barbi took time to raise her 3 beautiful daughters and joined the Newman Roofing team alongside her husband in 2011. Barbi enjoys going to the movies, meeting her friends for lunch, spending time with her daughters, and spoiling her two granddogs.

Alyssa Newman, Office & Marketing Manager
Alyssa is the eldest daughter of Tim and Barbi. She graduated from Miami University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Speech Pathology and Audiology as well as a Bachelor’s Degree in Gerontology. Alyssa graduated at the top of her class at Kent State University with a Master’s Degree in Speech Pathology. Prior to joining her parents at Newman Roofing, Alyssa worked for 3 years as a Speech Pathologist with children who have disabilities. In her free time, Alyssa enjoys boating, decorating, searching for the next home improvement project (thank goodness she knows some people in the construction industry), and spoiling her English Bulldog, Boss. Alyssa is very close to her parents as well as both of her sisters. She is honored to be part of the Newman Roofing team and to help build the legacy started by her father.

Alexis Newman, Sales Manager
Alexis is the middle daughter of Tim and Barbi. She graduated from Miami University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology. Alexis graduated at the top of her class at East Carolina University with a Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology. Prior to joining her parents at Newman Roofing, Alexis worked for 2 years as a Speech-Language Pathologist with children who have severe disabilities. In her free time, Alexis enjoys trying new foods, powerlifting, and spoiling her French Bulldog, Gus. She is honored to be part of the Newman Roofing team and to help build the legacy started by her father.

Alex Boyer, Production Manager
Alex has the longest history as part of the Newman Roofing team as he has been with the company since 2003. He started his career as an installer at the age of 18 on a crew supervised by Tim Newman. Alex takes pride in communicating with homeowners and making sure that each job is completed the right way. Not only is Alex good at problem solving in the field, he is also skilled in fabricating metal in our metal shop. He has used this skill set to make custom metal pieces for a variety of homes. Outside of Newman Roofing, Alex has been married to his high school sweetheart since 2004 and they have 2 children together. Alex enjoys muscle cars and activities that involve being outside. He likes kayaking, playing golf, and riding dirt bikes with his sons.

Eddie Smith, Estimator
Eddie is married to his beautiful wife and has three wonderful children. In his spare time, Eddie enjoys spending time with his family, hunting, fishing, golfing, and helping coach his children in sports. Eddie joined the Newman Roofing team in 2010. He is a Haag Certified Roof Inspector and specializes in full roof replacements. Eddie enjoys working with customers and helping them to make educated roofing decisions.

Chuck Pate, Estimator
Chuck has been in the roofing industry for over 40 years. He joined the Newman Roofing team as an Estimator. Chuck has a versatile role within the company as he understands both the production and estimating processes within the company. In his spare time, Chuck enjoys spending time with his wife of 40 years, spending time with his children, and reading.

Kurt Sammons, Estimator:
Kurt joined the Newman Roofing team as an estimator. He enjoys building new relationships and assisting customers through a relaxed and educated process. Outside of work, Kurt appreciates downtime with his wife Kayla, their two sons, and their dog Chief. He also enjoys being out on the lake, country concerts, hunting, and time spent with friends.

Larry Knight, Estimator
Larry has a combined 10 years of experience between automotive and construction sales. He has a passion for providing customers as much information as he can to help them make an educated decision. Larry is an avid outdoorsman and loves to hunt. In his spare time, he is a musician and enjoys spending time with his wife Brianna, their dog Bear, and their cat Kitten.

Tyler joins the Newman Roofing team as an estimator. Recently engaged to his fiancé Taylor, they love to travel and go to concerts. Tyler is a huge Ohio State Buckeye fan. He also enjoys meeting new people and building relationships.

Rich Linak, Project Analyst
Rich brings a broad range of experience to the Newman Roofing sales team, with over 24 years of experience in all segments of the roofing industry – residential, commercial and industrial. Rich has an expansive and comprehensive understanding of all phases of roofing, from labor to sales to project estimation and management. Rich loves spending time with his wife and 6 kids ranging wide in ages. In his spare time, he enjoys gardening, hunting, fishing and marksmanship.

Dakota enjoys meeting new customers and building relationships on a personal level.
He is married to his beautiful wife Ciera. He enjoys spending time with their two boys, hunting, beach trips, and time with family and friends.

Wilmer Ordonez, Quality Control Supervisor
Wilmer has been in the U.S since 1999, he moved to Ohio in 2002 which is when we met. We got married in November of 2005 and just celebrated our 18th wedding anniversary. We have 4 boys, Jonathon, Elias, Peyton and Kirian. Wilmer loves soccer and spending time with his family and our grandson Linden. He recently learned he likes to golf as well. He also likes to travel and explore new things. If you need anything else please let me know.

Tyler joined the Newman Roofing team as a job supervisor. He is a graduate of Big Walnut High School and went on to spend 4 years at Ohio Dominican University. He obtained All American honors in Track and Field while at ODU. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife Krystal and his two daughters. Tyler also likes golfing and working on cars.

Dan enjoys spending time with his wife Rachel and family. He has two dogs named Rosie and Rufus. Dan is also loves fishing in his spare time.

Kevin worked in the service division for 5 years prior to joining the production team at Newman Roofing. In his free time, he loves fishing, sports, cars, and spending time with his family.

David was born in Brooklyn, New York. He started his career in roofing as an installer for 5 years prior to joining Newman Roofing. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family and friends. David loves camping, being outdoors, playing soccer and baseball, and of course watching the New York Yankees with a slice of pie.

Tyler enjoys spending time with his family. His daughter is in travel softball and his son plays basketball. Tyler also has 3 cats. In his free time, he enjoys playing video games.

Jake has a religion degree from Indiana Wesleyan University. He has been married to his wife Rozalyn for 5 years. They have a pup named Ox. Jake loves playing and writing music. He enjoys outdoor recreational activities and playing sports (especially basketball and golf). Jake is a Michigan State fan. Prior to joining the Newman Roofing Team, Jake worked in the manufacturing and inventory management industry.

Mark Ezell, Purchasing Agent / Production Coordinator
Mark is originally from Cleveland, OH. He is married to Caitlin, whom he met at Lake Catholic High School in Mentor, OH where they graduated together. Mark attended Heidelberg University. He is the proud dad of Stella (3), Evelyn (18 months), and baby #3 on the way. Life in the roofing industry for Mark began in 2008, while working for Willoughby Supply in Mentor, OH. He started off loading roofs, moved on to managing production for custom metal shop, and ultimately became a branch manager in 2016 for the Columbus location. Mark met the Newman Roofing team originally in 2012 servicing their account at Willoughby Supply in Columbus. Mark started working for Newman Roofing in October of 2018 (best decision of his life)! He loves going to the zoo with his family, playing recreational sports, and is an intense Cleveland sports fan (unfortunately).

Luke Worley, Service Manager
Luke joined the Newman Roofing Team as a Job Supervisor. Luke served in the Marine Corps for 4 years as an assaultman. He enjoys hunting, fishing, and playing golf. Luke also coaches wrestling in the winter time.

Will joined Newman Roofing as their IT Manager. Prior to Newman Roofing, he worked in the Material Handling Industry for 8 years. Will grew up in the Charlotte, North Carolina area and graduated from Appalachian State University with a degree in Computer Information Systems. In his free time, he enjoys powerlifting, visiting local breweries, and creeking.

Jonny grew up in Berea, Ohio and has lived in Central Ohio for 8 years. He and his fiance have one son, Spencer, who is 4 years old. He enjoys cooking, the Cleveland Browns, and being outside.

Evan joins Newman Roofing as part of the customer service team and brings over 10 years of customer service experience. Evan is proud to be a first-time father to his daughter, Emery, due early July 2023. In his spare time, Evan enjoys learning new things, watching and playing sports, working out, being outdoor (when it’s warm), fishing and spending time with his family.

Jordan Wall, Sales and Office Administrator
Jordan grew up in Sunbury and graduated from Big Walnut in 2015. He played college football at Otterbein before finishing school at Southern New Hampshire with a degree in Business Administration. In his free time, Jordan enjoys the outdoors, working out, and Bible study with friends. He also enjoys rooting for the Cleveland Browns and Cleveland Cavaliers.
