Bermuda High, also known as Azores High, refers to the high-pressure area in the northern part of the Atlantic Ocean, typically heading either to the west or to the east. Its name varies depending on the direction. When it travels to the west, they center of this high-pressure area will be by Bermuda, and will be called a Bermuda High. Contrastingly, when it travels to the east, the center will be near Azores, and will be called an Azores High.

Alberta Clipper is a kind of storm that hails from Alberta, Canada or from any of its adjacent localities. It usually forms during the winter months and it is a fast-paced winter storm. The direction that an Alberta Clipper usually takes is southeast, where it brings small amounts of snow, breezy winds and cold temperature wherever it passes.
